CET welcomes CAGS visitor

 The CET is pleased to welcome a visitor from the Chinese Academy of Geological Sciences Institute of Mineral Resources.

Visiting PhD student Lijuan Ying will be studying at the CET for one year under the supervision of Director Campbell McCuaig.

Her PhD is titled "Mineralization mechanism of the Jiama copper polymetallic deposit in Tibet." Lijuan came to the CET to create a 3D geological model of Jiama and to understand the whole metallogeny process of the Jiama large scale deposit in order propose suggestions on prospecting in its periphery and its deep areas.
